SO….This week I re-encoded over 600 BipTunia songs from WAV masters to higher quality MP3s for my streaming server. The guy who runs my server digs what I do so he gifted me with more throughput.
So now I can use 224k MP3s instead of the 128K I’ve used for years. It sounds MUCH better higher, but I have to make them all, manually tag them, add album art, song titles, etc, and upload GBs of this stuff. It’s going to take days probably.
The songs from the most recent uploaded are already the higher quality. I’ve uploaded the songs from the last 75 albums and going backwards. Will do the other 30 albums in the coming days. But there’s more than enough there to check it out.
