(The knob is for show.)<\/p>\n<p>And it only does one thing, and does that thing very well: It makes all MIDI notes max velocity (127), regardless of input velocity. This makes the volume on playback max.<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s basically a dynamics compressor for MIDI.<\/p>\n<p>This is useful for heavy music, and\/or for using inexpensive MIDI keyboards with poor touch.<\/p>\n<p>There are other ways of doing this, but none are mas simple as using <strong>THIS GOES TO 127!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Just unzip and drop it into your VST folder.<\/p>\n<p>Then in your DAW, add our VST <strong>BEFORE<\/strong> the VST you want to affect (important):<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/biptunia.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/BEFORE.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-5333\" src=\"https:\/\/biptunia.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/BEFORE.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"226\" height=\"157\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The played notes will still <em>show<\/em> in the piano roll as various velocities, but will record, and play back, as max velocity (translates as max volume):<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/biptunia.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/55624251_2403298703227451_5706080274274582528_n.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-thumbnail wp-image-5334\" src=\"https:\/\/biptunia.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/55624251_2403298703227451_5706080274274582528_n-450x292.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"450\" height=\"292\" srcset=\"https:\/\/biptunia.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/55624251_2403298703227451_5706080274274582528_n-450x292.jpg 450w, https:\/\/biptunia.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/55624251_2403298703227451_5706080274274582528_n-400x260.jpg 400w, https:\/\/biptunia.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/55624251_2403298703227451_5706080274274582528_n.jpg 571w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 450px) 100vw, 450px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Leave <strong>THIS GOES TO 127! <\/strong>in the track for playback and render.<\/p>\n<p>You can even set it up in your track template to be on every track.<\/p>\n<p>Can also be used to &#8220;loudenize&#8221; previously recorded MIDI tracks.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>Put together by Michael W.
