Dean wrote to Phil Wormuth<\/strong>: Since you said this song’s rough draft sounded “too disco” and you don’t like disco….I DID “disco at you”, sort of as a joke, then realized it worked.\u00a0 I made “Electric Cat Disco” sound MORE disco because you said it sounded disco (I thought it sounded like post punk \/ dance, a la New Order, not Disco, like Dianna Ross or Bee Gees).<\/p>\n

So I added bass drum throughout. Kinda made the song really work. But I did that because you said it sounded disco.<\/p>\n

And it worked. And because the author of this song is now dead<\/a>, that doesn’t matter, and the song works better, so it’s all good.<\/p>\n
