Contains easy-to-use player with all BipTunia songs. Over 4 hours of music, and more music will be added as it’s created. The app is created by the creators of this music.
Can play songs one after the other, with or without shuffle and repeat.
Unlike a lot of electronic music, this has melody and structure, won’t hurt your ears (even loud), and you’ll be humming it later. Basically it’s heavy as heck AND radio friendly.
BipTunia music mood: Darkly cheerful, and upbeat introspective. Also fun. And deep. But doesn’t take itself too seriously.
The app should only buffer each song the first time you play it. Then you’ll have the song in the player and on your phone.
If you have a limited data plan, play every song and album once from home WiFi. Then you won’t have to use data plan data next time you use the app outside the house
Will appeal to fans of: Gary Numan, Brian Eno, Jim Carroll, Frank Zappa, The Residents, Robert Fripp, Blondie, Kraftwerk, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, The Postal Service, David Bowie, The Doors, Depeche Mode, ELP, and Dead Kennedys.
BipTunia styles: TripHop / Downtempo / Rock / Pop / Glam / Industrial / Ambient / Jazz / Space / Minimalism
BIO:
BipTunia is former Warner Brothers artist Michael W. Dean (singer / bass player in Bomb) with a new project of TripHop / Downtempo / Rock / Pop / Glam / Industrial / Ambient / Jazz / Space / Minimalism.
BipTunia is based in Wyoming, yet exists everywhere.
Sometimes BipTunia also includes spoken word by poet Phil Wormuth. He runs the JipProd word club in rural Maine.
Phil and Michael went to college together during the Cold War, in the Rust Belt of America. They tried making this music back then, but the technology had to catch up.
These two guys were best friends in college, played in a bar band called “The Armless Children.”
They lost track of each other for 30 years, got back in touch in 2017, and immediately made this music.”
Their music is a series of concept albums about dancing out the end of the world. But it’s not depressing. There is hope.
